It was about a month ago that Brendan and I were lamenting the fact that no one had a birthday come up since that is usually our reason for having a party. Well, fast forward a month later and the genius "Birthday Party For Everybody" was finally upon us and we were all at Ravena's with a keg of Yuengling. And not only was it everyone's birthday, but it was everyone's 21st birthday!
Now, my 21st year on this earth was a ton of fun and it involved a lot of beer, so getting this keg brought back a flood of memories for me. With memories did not come good judgement, however, and not soon after the party started, I was doing a kegstand. Hey, someone had to get them started, right? And we had some participants who had never done one and as a good friend, I want to help my boos get important life experiences.
My only complaint about the party is that it was a total cooter fest and not just of normal chicks, but a bunch of chicks who like to flirt. A lot. So when the ratio of girls to guys is incredibly unbalanced, it becomes like heaven for the guys and kind of annoying for the girls. I'm not really complaining, even though I miss being friends with mainly guys*, but guys bring a different dynamic. Here is one of the lucky guys: *blogger won't let me put the picture here, so click on this link*
The other interesting thing about the evening was that it flew by! We started wicked early and then all of a sudden it was time to go home. I guess that means we had fun?
*Don't get me wrong, I *heart* my girls, but it's different.
