No So You Think You Can Dance? update tonight as my TV guide mistakenly told me that Bones was on FOX at 8pm. So, instead of watching totally hott contemporary and hip hop routines, I was watching a rerun of America's Next Top Model. I was quite angry when I changed the channel at 9pm to see "Panty Liner"* Heidi finishing her solo routine and quickly realized it had already been on for an hour.
So, no recap since I only saw half of the show, but I will say that my favorite dances are turning out to be the contemporary and hip hop routines. BUT the duos and NOT the solos. The solos almost always bore me.
Now it's The Hills, the hottest (cable) show of The Summer! I'm sure Lala will have a better report than I could ever do.

I wish they'd show repeat showings of the show. I LOVE the dances.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T SEE IT!!!! I'm gonna recap some of it, because I think it's important you keep up on this Scarlet... All I can say is that Donyelle and Benji still rock my world, even though they were paired with other people. Donyelle was paired with Demetri, and they got two ballroom-type dances. I think Demetri is SUCH a strong ballroom dancer he has overshadowed his past partners, which may have partly resulted in their demise. Tonight though, Donyelle was EVERY BIT as good as Demetri. And freaking Demetri STILL shows off his freaking abs every chance he gets. I think this is crap because you know the other guys left in this competition, although they aren't as tall as Demetri, still have AMAZING bodies. But they're relying on their dancing, not on their sex appeal. (I HATE DEMETRI)
Heidi came out of no where tonight. I didn't really like her, but she AWESOME tonight.
My picks to go home: Marsha and Demetri (although I think Ryan might be the one to go...)

i missed the first hour, too... why did they break up allison and ivan? i have to agree i am loving the contemporary numbers. even though i think heidi is kind of annoying, i thought she was great with travis tonight!
WHY are you watching the hills when project runway is on!? though i'll admit i caught up on the hills a little this weekend and it is a pretty good show.
also, re what cindy said: dmitry is not my favorite and the ab-showing is rediculous but the judges made a good point tonight when they said that because he is really tall he frames his partner well. i think some of the guys are too small and they don't look as good as him on the dance floor.
Cindy- I know, I know! Dmitri speaking Russian was really hot. Unfortunately, I think Ryan will go home=/ And Martha. Panty Liner Heidi was good in that contemporary one!
Rooroo- I don't get Bravo. But luckily for me, NBC is reshowing the episodes a week later:)
What the hell is everyone talking about?!?! Heidi didn't do CRAP during the contemporary routine! Travis was all over the place, doing all the cool moves and shit, and Heidi was sitting on the bench. The only cool thing she did was when Travis lifted her by one leg and she kept rigid. I didn't understand why they were kissing her butt so much.
My favorite routines were Benji and Natalie's Jazz and Benji's solo. None of the women really do it for me, even Allison, and I think it should come down to Benji and Travis.
I don't like any of the solos. They're too short so they end up just being a "THIS IS EVERY TRICK I CAN DO!" thing.
